Welcome

This is a website dedicated to exploring the idea of interactive learning and the use of hyperlinks online. Inspired by the work of Nicholas Carr, who believes that the Internet has a detrimental effect on cognition and concentration, we hope to instead demonstrate the benefits of hyperlinked information online and how this can be useful to students today.

For this project, we've chosen to define a student as anyone who is attending elementary, secondary, or post-secondary school and falls under the generational term known as "digital natives." Digital natives include those who grew up having access to technology from a very young age, such as a computer or the Internet. This term typically includes most young adults born after 1990.

On our navigation bar to the left, you will find an outline of our main topics. These links will lead you to further pages which contain a more in depth discussion of each topic. All of our pages are hyperlinked together in order to provide you with more information. Links are provided so that you may choose to read our information in a linear path; otherwise, you may follow where ever the links may guide you.

Please take this opportunity to explore through our website. Leave no page unread, and no link unclicked!

Enjoy!
